Ocean Buffet in St. George

Delicious! Great variety of food and it's all pretty yummy. Not as much American food, so don't go expecting Mac n cheese and pizza. However, there are enough good things for kids. The sushi is really good for a buffet and it's freshly made. Could be a little cleaner but that's pretty par for the course as fast as Chinese buffets go. And for $10 a pop, definitely a great value.

Outside of the classics there is amazing sushi and dishes you don't normally find. One of the best Chinese Buffets I have been to.

Great food and very nicely remodeled!

Not the best, but also far from the worst. Not the cleanest eatery but not the dirtiest. The food was ok but not really anything to write home about. I tried to sample most foods at this buffet. The crab legs were a bit on the small side but as good as any. The sushi was decent. There was some pork on a stick that wasn't warm at all. With a few improvements this place has a lot of potential...

The food was okay. The bathroom stalls were small and that's saying something cause I'm 5'3. It really needed a upgrade cause you just had to rip paper towels off a role that had been set on the counter by the one sink. The service was amazing we had a table with 9 adults and 6 kids and our cups were never empty and our dirty plates taken quickly. It was a pretty penny for just my family of five (two adults three kids aged 6,5, and 1). Would not go again, only went for a fridays birthday dinner.

Everything is good but it could have been better if the temperature of the food was a little hotter.

I'd much prefer to serve myself.

Quite a nice selection of food to choose from. I enjoyed most of it including some saucy chicken a orange chicken or the sweet and spicy. They were both good. and the sushi rolls were very nice. The crab legs didn't taste super fresh but I get it. We're in the middle of the desert; it's hard to find fresh crab. The staff was very friendly and overall it was a pretty good experience!

We really enjoy this buffet the times we have been the food has been fresh and tasty. Tonight the bkack pepper chicken was perfect. Their sushi is ok but all you can eat so for the price of one roll at the expensive place down the street i can try many rolls and have other entres as well. The also serve pepsi which makes my wife happy. Thanks for fiber tonight!

My wife and I are new to St. George. We decided to give Ocean Buffet a try. From the outside, it doesn't look like a Chinese/Asian/Sushi restaurant and it really isn't decorated inside to look like one either. However, you don't eat the atmosphere or decor. The food is excellent (disclaimer: I haven't tried everything yet). We tried it ourselves, had 2 sets of friends come to visit and took them all there as well - all in less than a week. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fresh food, reasonable price, friendly staff.

It's a Chinese and seafood buffet, so my expectations were pretty low from the start, but everyone in my family left feeling sick. The crab legs tasted like ammonia - not a good sign. The rest of the food was only so-so. Nausea aside, it was overpriced for what they served. I'm not trying to be a douche, just honest.

Very good sushi for an all you can eat buffet! Normally, I am extremely hesitant to get sushi from all you can eat places but this was really very good!

Finally!! We have finally found our new favorite place. We have been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant since we moved to Mesquite, Nevada two years ago. We are in St. George about once a week and haven't found a place we liked, until today. The variety was great, the buffet space was clean and well lit, food was wonderful and my husband loved the sushi selection. The muscles, coconut shrimp and pot stickers were amazing, but it was the sauces that put our meal over the top. We were already in love with the place when some regulars came in for dinner and we watched the staff go out of their way to make their visit special. You could just feel the love they put into this restaurant. We will definitely be back again very soon! Thanks for the great meal!

Live in az . When i come to ca. I make sure this is one of the places i eat at .It has a very good food and the people that work there r very nice. Very clean too

I have always enjoyed Ocean Buffet. They have great food and friendly staff. It's now a different way to eat at a buffet, but understandable, since COVID 19 changed how restaurants operate. But Ocean Buffet is still one of my favorites

Food was ok. Buffet food needs to be warm. Several selections were cold. Doubt we will return. The 2 women on the floor were very attentive.

The food was very good and they have done a very good job adapting for the virus restrictions. I will return.

I got talked into this place, by my niece because she'd never been there. We got take out, and I will be back. No regrets. Best shrimp I've ever had. Even though my niece who insisted upon getting shrimp because she's never had it spit it out lol. Turns out shrimp is not for her. It's a texture thing. Everything else we got was pretty tasty. I was impressed and surprised. I kinda feel like they don't know what they are. But I don't mind the identity crisis lol

Everyone knows what they're getting with this sort of buffet it's definitely not the worst and I do continue going but their cost keeps going up without any Buffet changes or quality increases. The customer service has been fantastic though and that is probably what keeps me going back more than anything else.

I came to this place at 3:00 thinking It was Dinner. Dinner starts at 4:00. I ask if it was possible to have some crab legs before dinner time if I pay for dinner and the manager said yes. I had my crab legs thanks to him. Besides that There were some plates that needed to fill but good flavor. The owner seems very busy making sure the sushi was always available. There is plenty of space to park if you are hauling a trailer. .

Hooray! We have Ocean buffet again!!!With that said, they are limited with their sushi items and must be served by the waitresses. And they still charge you the Full dinner price. My wife and I had 3 mini trays of pretty good sushi for $30 Plus tips

I came in for lunch and it was like the slowest time of the day I guess because there were just a few people in there. The place was clean but not too spacious. They offered mostly Chinese food (about 20 items on the trays) plus sushi bar. They all either overcooked, super dried meat or way too oily. Not even one item that tasted ok unfortunately. I've tried a few but didn't like any of them. The sushi rolls weren't fresh and tasted very nasty. Even fruits and deserts seemed like seating there for a long time. I was so disappointed and didn't bother to try anymore. I wasn't happy about the service as well, my soda was empty and no one came to offer a refill. This was my first time here and also will be my last. Will definitely not recommend this place for the buffet.

Despite the 3 stars, this is the best chinese buffet in St. George. Go when it is busy, food turn over is obviously better. If Asian American food is what your looking for and a good amount then this is the place. They have a decent variety, food is mediocre, I mean it's a buffet not 5 star restaurant. We go every time we are in St. George and it offers a healthy enough variety that you can choose from. If your looking for sales choices, wrong place to go. They have, sushi, potstickers, steamed rice, chow main, beef broccoli, cheese muscles, chicken, shrimp, crab, oysters (sometimes), fried bananas, sesame balls, egg drop soup, salmon, sweet n sour chicken, plus more and of course traditional chinese buffet desserts.

The restaurant is easy to find, they have a very big sign that's easy to see from the street. I came here for lunch, paid just under $12 with a soda. I go to a lot of chinese buffets, and the food here is really good! It was fresh and a good selection. The building is nice inside, the etched glass artwork of the koi fish is really beautiful. The buffet island with all the hot food is one giant 40 foot long island. I use a walker, and was able to slide my plate around the whole island without having to pick up my plate and carry it. It's a nice perk if you're disabled. There are both tables and booths, and there's a separate party room for groups. The bathrooms were clean. I came close to dinner time, but they don't try to rush you out like some places--they just put a "dinner only" little sign in front of the dinner items, and ask you please not to take them, but you can continue to eat the lunch items. It's a nice policy.

Came in late but they let us in & constantly made sure we had enough food before they started putting away the food❤very nice and tastes amazing

A decent all you can eat Asian buffet. Very friendly staff, and good service. They do have a wide verity of sushi that you can try. If your a fan of Asian Food its worth checking out.

There have been CoVid changes. But the staff is on top of it. The buffet areas are covered in plastic and only staff has access to food. The food items are fresh and tasty, with a lot of variety, and the staff makes sure on can get what the customer wants.

Food is good,but you need to go early around Lunchtime. If you go later food is not that fresh anymore. To me it feels like they don't replenish often. Best to go at Lunch or Dinnertime.the one thing I like most about this place, the Staff is very friendly and attentive.

It has good variety of food. It is a Chinese buffet but I don't believe the cook is a Chinese person, because there's a big difference when a Chinese person Cooks the meal then another person from other country.

I haven't been here for a while and I am leaving very fat and happy!!Shrimp, crab, SUSHI!!! Need I say more?!?I didn't expect the crab legs on a Monday night, but man it was so good and they were always restocking it! Plenty of options on the buffet line from fried rice or noodles, to chicken on a stick and broccoli beef. Coconut shrimp, fries and a few other American dishes to please the little kids or picky eaters. They even have a few items for gluten free and vegetarian. But you better save room for the amazing line up of sushi!! Made right in front of you and so many varieties, it will please anyone! They also have many sauces to top it off or dip them in. Don't just read about it, you have got to try it out! Remember to grab your ice cream at the end! Mmmmm

Sure it's not the healthiest food to eat, they do have delicious food and the sushi is not bad at all. It's a very casual atmosphere, pretty cozy. The service is good too.

Very Good Chinese Buffet, Crab was seasoned very well, Ribs were a little dry but hey it is a buffet! I really liked the sweet and sour sauce there,and the shrimp were fresh. Also the employees were very friendly

All you can eat including sushi, need I say more. I have taken friends here and they have all loved it. Older building but the all you can eat part is amazing. They have ice cream in a cone and in a bowl sometimes I just go and eat sushi and ice cream and fill my stomach that way. Amazing place for lunch or dinner. Very nice people and great food!!!! If you like food come on in. Very nice folks

We LOVE this place. We've eaten here at least 5 times. They have such good food and for the price, it's pretty dang good. The sushi is good, and they have lots of other food options. If you want a satisfying meal, this is the place.
